![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Doyle officially joined The Misfits in October of 1980, but was playing with the band much earlier. He learned to play guitar from Jerry and Glenn at the age of thirteen and was around the studio as early as the Static Age sessions, if only as an observer. His first show with The Misfits was on Halloween of 1980 when he was an mere 16 years old. His guitar work is featured on the "3 Hits From Hell" EP, the "Halloween" 7" single, the "Walk Among Us" LP, the "Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood" LP, and the "Die, Die My Darling" EP, as well as the more recent "American Psycho" LP. Doyle also played with Kryst The Conqueror, and reformed The Misfits with his brother Jerry.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Jerry was born and lived most of his life in Lodi, New Jersey. He recieved a bass guitar for Christmas his senior year at Lodi High School and started playing in February '77, just 2 months later. The nexy month he was introduced to Glenn Danzig by Manny and they formed the original The Misfits. Jerry reformed the band in 1994 with his brother Doyle. Besides The Misfits, Jerry also played bass for Kryst The Conqueror.
Equipement
1977-1983: Rickenbacker SB4001 bass, Acoustic amplifier with built-in distortion, Acoustic cabinets (one 18" speaker), Rotosound Round Wound strings.
1987-1997: Custom-made Rand Devastator bass.
1997-Now: Custom-made Gothic Customs Devastator bass, Ampeg SVT amplifiers, Ampeg SVT cbabinets, Acoustic amplifier.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Dr. C.h.u.d., the Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Drummer, has been drumming with Jerry and Doyle since 1993, when he originally joined them as a replacement drummer for Kryst The Conqueror. Dr.Chud graduated from Lodi High School with Doyle in 1982. He also played in local Lodi bands Sardonica, and Sacred Trash before joining the reformed Misfits.

1994-2000:Custom drums made by Jerry Only, Remo drumheads: 2 double-head rack toms, 3 single-head rack toms, 2 floor toms (each made from two 22" bass drums bolted together), bass drum (Robo's 28" and another 30" bass drum bolted together); Sabian cymbals, 52" gong, 16-space special effects rack.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Michale had never listened to the Misfits before auditioning for the band in April of 1995. He was officially announced as the lead singer in October of 1995 even though he had been practicing with the band for more than 6 months at that time. His first recording with the band is the "American Psycho" LP.

![]() GLENN DANZIG (BELOW)
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glenn was the first Misfits lead singer. He graduated from Lodi High School in 1973 and was in several cover bands, one of which was called Talus, before forming The Misfits. In 1983, he left the band and formed Samhain, and later Danzig, with Misfits photographer Eerie Von Stellman.
